Management and Transformation of Educational Units
Introduction
Rapid technological developments and changes in socio-economic conditions require educational units to adapt in order to respond to new challenges. Management is the driving force behind any transformation of these units, providing the necessary leadership, strategic thinking and development prospects. The transformation of educational units refers to the redesign and reorganisation of processes, practices and structures with the aim of raising the quality of education and improving learning outcomes. Through the sound application of management and targeted transformation, educational units can create an environment that fosters the well-rounded development of pupils and prepares young people for the demands of modern society. The Course “MANAGEMENT AND TRANSFORMATION OF EDUCATIONAL UNITS” enables participants to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to address challenges such as rapid technological progress, multiculturalism, social change and the increasing demands of the labour market, and to implement effective management and transformation strategies.
The ultimate aim of the Course is to train students through asynchronous learning, to improve their position in the labour market and to disseminate scientific knowledge empirically. More specifically, the Course introduces students to the subject and methods of management and transformation, with an emphasis on the particular context of educational units. Its objective is to equip students with introductory knowledge of the broad spectrum of the management of educational organisations and of the transformation and reform of the individual components of the educational process. The range of topics covered prepares students to understand management challenges, to take a strategic view of these issues, and to explore the theory and practice of management and transformation in greater depth.
