Analysis of Contemporary Financial Risks with the EViews Econometric Software

Introduction

Modern society constantly faces challenges and uncertainties in the economic sphere. Financial risks can have serious consequences for businesses, societies and individual finances alike. The increasing complexity and uncertainty of the financial sectors has created the need for an analytical approach to, and management of, the risks involved. Consequently, the analysis of contemporary financial risks is a key field of study and practice in economics and investment. The use of econometric software, such as EVIEWS, which is examined in this Course, has proved particularly useful for studying and forecasting such risks. The training Course “Analysis of Contemporary Financial Risks with the Econometric Software EVIEWS” responds to the need for specialised knowledge and skills aimed at the effective management of financial risks.

The ultimate aim of the Course is to train participants through asynchronous distance learning. More specifically, the Course seeks both to improve participants’ career prospects and position in the labour market, strengthening the confidence of the employers to whom they apply for work, and to disseminate scientific knowledge in practice, enabling them to work in a variety of organisations in the field of economics by putting theoretically acquired knowledge into practice. Essentially, it aims to cover, at an advanced level, topics relating to the analysis of financial risks and empirical findings, while also examining contemporary issues that have emerged in international literature and practice as a result of recent developments in the measurement of and protection against financial risks.
