Participants must have:

• Basic computer skills

• Foreign language level: very good

• Degree from Departments of Informatics and Communications and/or Law
• Degree grade
• Professional involvement in ICT and related fields

Target Audience

The Course is aimed at students and graduates of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Law departments and at professionals in the fields of Information Technology, Communications and Law

Type of Certificate

Trainees who successfully complete all the units of the Course are awarded a Training Certificate by KEDIVIM of the University of Piraeus. Where successful completion of the Course is not possible due to discontinuation of studies or failure in the examinations, the trainee is awarded a Certificate of Attendance by KEDIVIM of the University.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the Teaching Units, trainees will be able to:

Know the legal framework governing cybersecurity

Define the security requirements of a networked system.

To design security mechanisms and protocols that meet well-defined requirements and protect against specific threats.

To analyse the potential threats/risks that may affect the operation, effectiveness, efficiency and privacy of a network system.

To evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of a network security architecture by identifying potential weaknesses and limitations.

To be familiar with current research trends and assess the impact they may have on the field in the coming years.

To complete the Course successfully, trainees must have attended all the teaching units. Absences may not exceed 35% of the scheduled training hours. They must also have passed the examination and have paid the tuition fees in full.

Discount Policy

For students, the fee is €900

Payment of Fees

Fees are paid in a single payment or in two equal instalments, provided that the tuition fees are paid in full before the final examination. Failure to pay any instalment results in the automatic exclusion of the candidate from the award of the certificate.
