Registration in the Register

In accordance with the institutional framework, a Register of Adult Trainers is established at the Centre, under the responsibility of the Director of KEDIVIM. 

The Trainers’ Register of the Centre is open to applications. Holders of a higher education degree from a Greek institution (University/TEI) or from a foreign institution recognised by the Hellenic NARIC (DOATAP) are eligible to register. Those registered must be certified Adult Trainers where this is required by the programme. 

Applications for inclusion in the Register are submitted for one or more of the subject areas of the University of Piraeus. 

Faculty members of the University of Piraeus and of other Greek and foreign universities, as well as members of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP), Special Educational Staff (EEP) and Special Technical Laboratory Staff (ETEP), do not need to apply to the Register.

Trainers’ Register Application

To submit the application you will need to complete and attach the following:

  1. Personal and contact details. 
  2. Details of academic qualifications (Institution, School/Department, degree, year awarded), with scanned copies of the degrees attached (first degree, master’s degree, doctorate, and recognition by the Hellenic NARIC (DOATAP) for degrees awarded abroad). 
  3. Level of foreign language proficiency, with scanned copies of the recognised certificates/qualifications that prove it attached. 
  4. Level of computer literacy, with scanned copies of the recognised certificates/qualifications that prove it attached. 
  5. Other certifications, such as training certificates (over 25 hours), with scanned copies of the certificates attached. 
  6. EOPPEP certification of Adult Trainer teaching competence, if available.  
  7. Proof of registration in the LAEK Register of Trainers, if available.  
  8. Details of professional experience other than teaching adults (employer, position/subject, period of employment), with scanned copies of certificates of previous employment from the employer or the social security fund, or proof of registration as self-employed and a professional licence where required, attached. 
  9. Details of teaching experience with adults (organisation, subject taught, teaching hours, period of employment), with scanned copies of employer certificates attached. 
  10. Details of other knowledge, with scanned copies of the files that prove it attached. 
  11. List of publications (Books/Monographs/Articles in scientific journals & conferences/Other publications). 
*Please note that inclusion in the Trainers’ Register does not automatically entail participation in any of the Centre’s programmes.
